چکیده
The air shafts of coal mines contain solid, liquid, and gaseous substances that corrode concrete under conditions relatively high temperature humidity. coupling various factors decreases the strength thus bearing capacity shaft lining. In this study, corrosion tests were carried out by simulating complex environment a mine lining to study variation in stress-strain curve. For corroded specimens subjected very low stress, microcracks holes closed, generating large deformation, indicating severe corrosion. longer time was, gentler initial slope Finally, uniaxial compression constitutive model was established based on Weibull distribution three parameters, curve compared with experimental This can not only predict change high-strength but also provide theoretical reference for application an environment.

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
Characteristic Points of Stress-Strain Curve at High Temperature
Determination of critical points on hot stress-strain curve of metals is crucial in thermo-mechanical processes design. In this investigation a mathematical modeling is given to illustrate the behavior of metal during hot deformation processes such as hot rolling. The critical strain for the onset of dynamic recrystallization has been obtained as a function of strain at the maximum stress. In a...

In this study, we investigate the stress-strain curves of reactive powder concrete (RPC) at high strain rates by using SHPB test, the Burgers’ mechanics model and secant-moduli method. The RPC composites are examined at the age of 10 days containing RPC mortar as the matrix, and three volume concentrations, 1%, 2% and 3%, of steel fiber as the inclusion respectively. Strain rates including 1×10...
متن کاملA New Technique based on Strain Energy for Correction of Stress-strain Curve
Tensile stress-strain curve is of high importance in mechanics of materials particularly in numerical simulations of material deformations. The curve is usually obtained by experiment but is limited by necking phenomenon. Engineering stress-strain curve is converted to true stress-strain curve through simple formulas. The conversion, however, is correct up the point of necking. From this point ...
متن کاملVariation of Shrinkage Strain within the Depth of Concrete Beams
The variation of shrinkage strain within beam depth was examined through four series of time-dependent laboratory experiments on unreinforced concrete beam specimens. Two types of beam specimens, horizontally cast and vertically cast, were tested; shrinkage variation was observed in the horizontally cast specimens. This indicated that the shrinkage variation within the beam depth was due to wat...
